"Never feel like struggling is a sign of weakness. We all struggle at some point. The strongest athletes are the ones who are willing to ask for help. There are so many resources out there that we can utilize: Older teammates, coaches, mentors, and sports psychiatrists are all examples of people that are there for us. Do not be afraid to use them!  Athletes need to be educated on how important mental health really is. As athletes we are programmed to constantly bounce back and handle adversity by OURSELVES without the help of anyone. Being open about your mental health is the first step in the right direction.”
